Email & Marketing Communications Policy
Transactional email
We may send service messages needed to operate your account or continue a permit project, including email verification, security notices, purchase confirmations, saved-application reminders, reminders when a completed questionnaire has not yet been purchased, permit-package-ready notifications, and important changes affecting a purchased service. These messages are tied to your account or active permit project; optional promotional marketing remains separate.
Optional marketing
Marketing email is optional. The registration checkbox for permit tips and partner offers is unchecked by default. If you opt in, we may send occasional product updates, permit-related information and offers from or about selected partners.
Partner offers
Opting in to partner offers does not by itself authorize us to give your email address to a partner. We may send a partner promotion ourselves. If we later propose to disclose your contact information to a partner for the partner's own marketing, we will provide any separate disclosure, consent or opt-out required by applicable law.
Unsubscribe
Marketing messages will provide an easy unsubscribe method. We will honor valid opt-out requests as required by law. You can also change marketing preferences through your account. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages necessary to provide your account or purchased service.
Sender identification
Marketing messages will identify the sender and include a valid postal address before marketing campaigns are launched publicly.
