We want Orange County Building Permits and future Form-O-Matic permit services to be usable by as many people as practical. Our design uses readable text, keyboard-focus indicators, labeled form controls, large touch targets, responsive layouts and help text that does not depend on hover alone.

Our goal

We aim to follow widely used accessibility practices, including applicable portions of WCAG 2.2 Level AA, as the service develops. Some third-party content, government PDFs and linked websites are outside our control.
