What does a building permit form preparation service do?

Form-O-Matic is a private form-preparation service. You answer guided questions in plain English, and the service uses those answers to prepare the government forms configured for the selected permit workflow.

The goal is to make permit paperwork easier to complete and to identify missing information before you submit it. This can reduce avoidable correction notices and paperwork-related delays, but it does not guarantee that a government agency will accept or approve a permit.

You are still responsible for reviewing the finished package, signing where required, adding plans or other supporting documents, submitting the package to the applicable government agency, and paying government fees.
